Europe Trip (Paris) 1

For the first time in three years, my family and I went on a legitimate vacation. The pandemic hit hard on our time to go on trips since nobody really dared to venture outside for a “prolonged” period of time. But this year, my parents decided that it would be more “safe” (foreshadowing) for a vacation, and so we came to an agreement to be surrounded by massive tourist crowds in Europe in extremely hot AND humid weather. Anyway, here’s how the trip went…

DAY 1. We arrived in Paris in the afternoon after a very long flight and we were all tired so we headed straight to a taxi that brought us to our hotel. Thankfully, we didn’t have many transportation issues in this country, or we wouldn’t be able to follow our schedule right. Once we got to our hotel, we threw our luggage into our tiny room and chose to walk around the City of Love.

We did not walk very far. My dad was super hyped up and wanted to see all the attraction at night, but I had these mosquito bites on my ankles that were very uncomfortable, so we just ate dinner at this random Italian place while we were walking.

The restaurant wasn’t bad; it had good pasta, and even had outdoor seating area. After that, mom “lost” her credit card even though it was in her bag, and my feet were dying to get a break. So, my mom and I walked back while my excited dad went to take pictures of the Louvre and Place de la Concorde, which were in opposite directions… no wonder he came back at like 11pm.
